Philip McIlroy is a woodworker based in St. Philip's, Newfoundland. In his workshop he creates elegantly designed furniture crafted to last a lifetime or longer. Each piece of furniture is made using solid wood carefully selected to ensure grain continuity and harmony throught the work. Using a blend of machines and hand tools, the raw material is shaped and joined using traditional joinery to create furniture of exceptional strength and beauty.

Do you have a beautiful hardwood tree in your yard that has to be removed? These trees can often make incredible pieces of furniture that will preserve the memory of your tree forever. I have a sawmill that can process your tree into boards that will then be dried before being made into a unique piece of furniture.
