While we were building our house, my wife Isabel saved some of
the scrap wood from the firewood pile and started making
traditional shaker pegs with a twist. The twist being that the
shape of each peg was unique. These became a playful yet
functional element of our house. We are offering them here
either as individual hooks or as a longer peg rail.

Pricing varies slightly depending on the wood species required. Most pieces are made to order just for you, so lead times depend on how busy I am. Please contact me and I can give you a quote and completion date.
My furniture is offered in a range of North American hardwoods. As well I do offer some local Newfoundland hardwoods from my own sawmill depending on availability. If you wish to order a piece of furniture, we can discuss what material will work best for you and provide samples if required.
My furniture is finished with a hard wax oil that provides a durable nontoxic finish that can be easily repaired if a piece is scuffed or damaged. A light sanding of a damaged area and a spot of fresh oil and it will look as good as new.
Furniture can be cleaned with a damp cloth or mild soap solution as necessary. Avoid strong cleaning products and abrasives.
If you ever have any problems with the craftsmanship of your furniture please let me know and I will repair or replace as appropriate. If you damage the finish or the piece has obviously been misused, I can still repair it for you however I may have to charge for the service.
